About the Author

Higuchi Yuko (ヒグチユウコHiguchi Yuko)

Painter and picture book author. Since 1999, she has held solo exhibitions and creative activities irregularly, primarily based in Tokyo. Her first picture book, "[Title of Picture Book]", was published in 2014.Lost Cat".

The works often feature animals and plants such as cats, snails, mushrooms, and birds as their themes. At first glance, the style is sweet and cute, but upon closer inspection, one discovers eerie details. This whimsical sense of conflict and fantastical style not only appeals to young people but has also attracted collaborations from popular brands such as Gucci, Shiseido, Majolica Majorca, and Uniqlo.
