WLOP (Wang Ling)

WLOP is a self-taught artist, illustrator, and comic creator. A graduate of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Hong Kong, he is known online as "the illustrator who writes code." In 2014, he began creating his original comic, *Ghost Blade*, in his spare time. With its cinematic lighting effects and epic scene design, the work has garnered over 500 million views online, and his characters, such as the Ice Princess Hai Qin Yan and Feng Ling, are widely loved by readers. WLOP has persisted in his amateur creations for over a decade and has published four volumes of the *Ghost Blade* series of art books. His self-taught experience and artistic philosophy inspire many art enthusiasts. His representative original works include *Ghost Blade*, *Cloud Insect*, and *Dream of the Desolate Night*.
