A beautifully bound and detailed ocean book 🌊

"40 Meters Under the Sea in Pingtung" is a square hardcover book, a beautiful blue color.
The cover features iridescent foil and a special glossy design. When flipped left and right, it evokes images of shimmering sea waves and spray!

As the title suggests, the book explores the ocean from the surface down to a depth of 40 meters. Combining text and illustrations, it introduces knowledge about ecology and life, environmental awareness, and marine culture, guiding readers on a journey to explore the ocean off Pingtung.

The book features many adorable marine creatures, including sea turtles, whales, dolphins, and pufferfish, as well as sections on underwater activities. The illustrations are both realistic and heartwarming!

I was impressed by the illustrations that displayed scuba diving and freediving equipment, as well as the knowledge about underwater communication gestures.

Among them, the two large illustrations with maps of Pingtung County showcase tourist attractions and dive sites in Pingtung County and Xiaoliuqiu. Take a look! 🤣

What's amazing is that there are two pages in the book with paper art designs. One page is a three-dimensional sailboat (V-shaped folding structure), and the other page is a diving action of getting deeper and deeper (that page introduces Franz flat pressing 🤿). It is a three-dimensional structure that can be continuously pulled down, which is very creative!

I noticed a clever touch in the font: the subheading "Turtle Hair's Journey" on the turtle page features turtle stripes! The subheadings also follow a progression from "Journey (0 – 15 m)" at the beginning, to "Dive (15 – 31 m)" and finally to "Deep Dive (31 – 40 m)" at the end.

The book has a lot of illustrations and text, and each section is quite rich in content (a lot of information 🤣); the text also has Chinese and English translations, which makes it very convenient for promotion.

I feel a more concise version or the addition of phonetic symbols could be made, allowing readers of a wider age range to immerse themselves in this beautiful book! 🐟
