"MUSÉUM POP-UP" is a stunning pop-up book, practically a museum that leaps off the page! 🏛️
Created in collaboration with renowned French artists Dominique Ehrhard and Anne-Florence Lemasson, it was published in 2019.
- Article introducing Misty Goods:
The book is quite small, just the right size to hold and flip through.
Combining visual appeal with educational content, this 30-page book showcases France's...National Museum of Natural HistoryThe "Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle" (National Museum of Histories of Nature) showcases historical and precious artifacts, including minerals, fossils, animals, birds, butterflies, and plants, all accompanied by explanatory texts (in French). 🦜
The museum’s predecessor, the botanical garden, was established in 1626 as the “Royal Medicinal Botanical Garden” of the reign of Louis XIII, and was later converted into the National Museum of Natural History in 1793.

The most distinctive feature of this book is its use of a "three-dimensional structure" to present the exhibits. The design effectively highlights the unique characteristics of each exhibition area!
Like a display of ores, you can turn the pages one by one to examine the cut surface; a large dinosaur fossil stands alone in the middle of the page, viewable from all sides; a butterfly specimen protrudes from the page, its wings fluttering as the pages turn. 🦋
Every page is amazing!

The illustrations are realistic and perfectly complement the three-dimensional structure, making the reader feel as if they are visiting the museum in person.
"MUSÉUM POP-UP" is one of my favorite art books!
You can take a museum tour anytime, anywhere! 🤩

Welcome to the Paris Botanical Garden Pop-up Book
Founded in 1626 as the "Royal Herbal Garden" of the reign of Louis XIII, the Paris Botanical Garden was converted into the National Museum of Natural History in 1793. The garden not only contains plants but is also connected to the animal museum and the natural history museum.
Designed by Dominique Ehrhard, this pop-up book brings the imagery of a museum to life on paper, bringing the exhibits to life in 3D and making readers feel as if they are actually there. Each double-page spread presents a different exhibit, including a mineral section (where seemingly identical minerals open to reveal fascinating interiors), a paleontology section featuring Brachiosaurus remains, the evolutionary history of animals, bird specimens, butterfly specimens, and more. The book aims to showcase the richness of the museum's collection, the importance of science, and, more importantly, to convey the beauty of the world.
