📍 Exhibition Introduction

To enrich Fantasy Art, d/art has been planning a series of themed exhibitions since 2025. The first exhibition extension, "Mechanical Noon," is themed "Dark Art" and will be held at the d/art Gallery in Ximending from April 19 (Sat) to May 18 (Sun), 2025.

The "Non-Human Extraordinaries" special exhibition features five unique illustrators: fracoco, Kiginobyl, Ichimang, Ikaruga, and Chine. Presenting a dark aesthetic through an extraordinary, non-human world, the exhibition showcases nearly 50 paintings. Several collectible artworks and exhibition merchandise will also be available for purchase by Dark Art enthusiasts. d/art will open the doors to this non-human world for a limited time in April; all those who love the bizarre and unusual are welcome to visit!


▍About the Author

fracoco

A Japanese illustrator. Her work primarily focuses on depicting negative emotions such as unease, fear, and anxiety using realistic brushstrokes. She creates artwork mainly for books, including cover illustrations and other book-related illustrations.

キギノビル

A Japanese concept artist and illustrator, he uses delicate and realistic brushstrokes to depict extraordinary everyday scenes, constructing a chilling (and unsettling) worldview. He currently works as a scene concept artist at a game company and also does book cover illustration.

One awn

Japanese illustrator. Primarily creates dark fantasy works, specializing in monster design, prop design, and 2D art production. Currently releasing gashapon toys under the "Ryō no Kami-sama" series.

turtledove / Ikaruga

She began her creative activities in 2017. Her works are mainly line drawings, with themes of mythology, legends, and fear. She uses delicate brushstrokes to create a mysterious and dark yet gorgeous world of gods, demons, angels, and various alien creatures. In terms of commercial activities, she has also participated in the design of monsters in games and book covers. In recent years, she has also held solo exhibitions and been responsible for the graphic design of Japanese music festivals and collaborative merchandise with other creators.

Thorn Tea

Dedicated to exploring the possibilities and beauty inherent in the "extra-human" realm, this exhibition serves as the basis for our creative activities. By depicting beings that transcend the human realm, we hope to convey their awe-inspiring and fantastical charm, offering viewers a fresh perspective. We sincerely hope that this exhibition will allow you to experience the profoundness and magnificence of the extra-human world.
