*Yoshida Seiji's Yokai Picture Book: The Fox's Lost Thing* is the first picture book by Japanese illustrator Yoshida Seiji. The Traditional Chinese version was published by Sharp Point Press in 2026, and the first printing included a newly drawn copy of the author's autographed card.

The picture book has 32 pages in total, which is not long.

Set in the yokai village of Tono, the story follows a young boy named Kenji as he and a little fox embark on a quest to find various yokai territories—kappa, zashiki-warashi, tengu… The ending is somewhat bittersweet XD

The picture book also includes a "spot the difference" activity at the end, featuring small objects from the story to increase interactivity.

A Guide to Improving Illustration Techniques by Seiji Yoshida." His book "The House in the Story" won the Batchelder Award for Children's Literature Translation. He is a visiting professor at Kyoto University of the Arts.
