This 48-page catalog includes new illustrations created by Night Car specifically for the exhibition, as well as personal illustrations from 2016-2019 that were not previously published in other catalogs. While not as numerous as a thick catalog, the layout and printing are very solid, making it a must-have for anyone wanting to collect Night Car's entire collection.

It's been a while since I've had a chance to appreciate Night Car's work closely, and I'm amazed once again! Every piece is exquisite, with each stroke perfectly placed, creating a unique and personal artistic atmosphere.

I especially love the series of dark-toned, floral-themed pieces; they have a perfect blend of classic and modern elements (?). 🌼

About the Author

Night car (YOGISYA)

A Japanese illustrator whose works are deeply influenced by fairy tales and possess an elegant late 19th-century feel. She initially began drawing because of her older sister's love of illustration. After graduating high school, she took a break from drawing until her love for the Touhou Project series inspired her to create derivative works, which led her back to drawing. Later, she published her illustrations on the online art exchange platform pixiv, gradually moving towards becoming a professional illustrator through online interaction. In 2018, she released her first collection of works, and the following year created the book "Otogi Koshoden no Gensou-zuka" (Illustrations of Fantasy Books at Old Bookstores) based on world-famous fairy tales. She was also invited to illustrate the text and text of Japanese literary masterpiece Ango Sakaguchi's "Yoru Nagahime to Mimioshi" (The Night-Naga Princess and the Ear-Man). She is a representative and popular illustrator of the Japanese pixiv art wave.
