This book, *A Thousand Bouquets*, is the first collection of works by Japanese illustrator Umishima Senbon, published in 2018. A subsequent collection, *[…]*, was released in 2022.RoomsA collection of personal illustrations and comics, exhibited at the d/art gallery in Taiwan that same year.Qianyu's Congratulations | Qianben's First Solo Exhibition in TaiwanI was there to see the exhibits, and the works were truly spectacular!

The art book is B5 size and nearly 200 pages long, with about 160 pages printed in color and the rest being 5 short comics printed in monochrome.

Stepping into the world created by the author "Sea Island Senbon," the paintings, true to their name, possess a simple and light style.

It depicts the stories of young girls and many beautiful moments from their perspective.

What impressed me most was the series of animated GIFs, showing girls in different outfits twirling and tossing their hair, their fluid movements perfectly showcasing elegance. Every gesture was so graceful (I especially loved that flowing long skirt). 👗

The art book includes not only the author's original illustrations but also commercial works, such as visuals for "Black Bullet" and "Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet," and character design sketches for Makoto Shinkai's "She and Her Cat."

The last 30 pages are a collection of 5 short black-and-white comics (translation needed XD).

It is worth mentioning that the foreword and epilogue are written in both Japanese and English.

In terms of user experience, PIE International's art books and publications place greater emphasis on multilingual presentation, benefiting overseas readers.
