About the Author
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Born in Lyon, France in 1900, Antoine de Antoine served in the French Air Force as a reserve pilot. After France's defeat in World War II, he went into exile in the United States. During his two years in America, he wrote *The Little Prince* and other works. A year after the publication of *The Little Prince* in 1943, Antoine disappeared during a reconnaissance mission in French space. He is world-renowned as the author of *The Little Prince*, a book that has become a classic of world literature.
Louise Greig
A British author, she writes poetry and children's picture books. Her writing style is unique and beautiful, and she has won numerous awards and accolades. Her picture book, *The Night Box*, has been translated into ten languages, nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal and the Fruge Children's Book Award, shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Award, and named French Book of the Year.
Sarah Massini
This award-winning children's book illustrator sometimes also works as an author. Her works have been translated into more than 25 languages and have received numerous book reviews from major media outlets, including The New York Times, School Book Journal, The Daily Telegraph, Publishers Weekly, Kirk's Book Review, and the American Library Association. She currently lives in East Sussex in southeast England with her husband, an environmental activist, her son, and her lively hunting dog.
