Ryo Tomihara, the popular contemporary Japanese illustrator known for his striking good looks and character designs for the mobile game "A3!" and the multimedia project "Tokyo Color Sonic!!", will be holding his first solo exhibition in Taiwan, "SCENE | Ryo Tomihara's First Solo Exhibition in Taiwan," at d/art Gallery in Ximending from March 21 (Sat) to April 19 (Sun), 2026!
Ryo Tomishiro boldly incorporates fashion elements, breaking free from existing frameworks of "aesthetic appeal" to continuously showcase a unique worldview that combines sophistication and mystery. His characters possess not only perfectly expressive eyes that evoke deep emotions, but also a high level of acclaim, making him one of the most representative illustrators in the Japanese female-oriented content field. In recent years, he has garnered attention for his interpretations of urban men and women, blending modern fashion styles with delicate emotions. He has held solo exhibitions at iconic Tokyo commercial facilities SHIBUYA109 and GINZA SIX, and has subsequently exhibited in Osaka, Nagoya, and other cities.
"SCENE｜Ryo Fujihara's First Solo Exhibition in Taiwan" will showcase Ryo Fujihara's original paintings, including his unique aesthetic and exquisite costume designs, as well as the main visuals and character designs for the mobile game "A3!" and the multimedia project "Tokyo Color Sonic!!"
