Let's unbox two art books from the Nintendo Switch game Pokémon Shining Pearl/Brilliant Diamond. Longtime Pokémon fans will be familiar with these; "Shining Pearl/Brilliant Diamond" is a remake of the 2006 Nintendo DS classic game Pokémon Diamond/Pearl.
They are obtained in a rather unique way: they are early purchase bonuses for pre-ordering the game through Pokémon Centers, and the art book cannot be purchased separately.
A5 hardcover binding with a hot-stamped cover and a unique patterned design on the white background of the back cover, giving it a very high-quality feel. ✨
The cover illustrations for the "Bright Pearl ⚪️" and "Crystal Diamond 💎" Art Books feature the game's main characters, the starter Pokémon, and the legendary Pokémon of each version—Palkia and Dialga.
The book is 32 pages long and printed in full color. The setting book includes: a map of the Sinnoh region, illustrations, limited Pokémon, character designs, art concept art, and scenes. The two books are largely similar in layout and content, differing only in a few minor details.
The book is primarily illustrated, with text presented in both Japanese and English.
