The author, Tomo Yamamoto (山本サトシ), took over this work in Chapter 3 (Gold and Silver) of the "Pokemon Special" manga (the original painter was Shinto). Pokémon’s series of games, comics, and animations have different emphasis on the plot and character layout, so they can be regarded as different stories, if there is a seemingly unconnected connection between each other.

A book full of Pokémon, contains a very complete collection of the cover pictures, title pages, drafts, etc. of the past "Pokemon Special" comics. There are as many as 260 illustrations in total, and you can see a variety of classic picture color pictures! The latest one has received the illustrations of "X. Y Chapter" and "Ultimate Ruby.
