"Mother-of-Pearl" is a series by Japanese illustrator Natsume Lemon, following her first art book.Natsume Rino's Art Collection-CITRON-This is the second art book released in 2023, following the previous one.

The cover text is in silver foil, while the inside cover features a line drawing with white lines on a purple background. The cover and back cover illustrations are created using digital drawing and hand-drawn techniques, respectively. The book includes 18 pages at the end showing the drawing process for each of these two works, a unique approach that combines both drawing styles and highlights their similarities and differences. 🎨

The book is 160 pages long and is a collection of over 130 hand-painted transparent watercolor and digital illustrations.

The content mainly includes original and commercial illustrations (covers, illustrations), character designs, sketches, etc., as well as 2 pages of author interviews.

Natsume Lemon, currently residing in Fukuoka, works as a freelance illustrator after leaving a game company. His style ranges from transparent watercolor to digital analog, and his work can be found in almost every genre. He has served as a character designer for the romance game "The Love Story of a Beautiful Villain in the Dark Night" and illustrated the "Harem Corpse Examiner" series of novels by Kadokawa Bunko. Now, his second art book is finally being released, featuring over 130 pieces of artwork, including cover illustrations, character designs, and sketches, along with valuable behind-the-scenes footage of the drawing process.
