もの久保 (Monokubo)

Illustrator. There is also the internet pseudonym "Yi Chong". Most of them draw landscape paintings or illustrations based on giant creatures. Responsible for drawing the ending illustrations of the TV animation "Lao Tzu Is a Magical Girl". In addition, he also participated in TCG illustration, game background and book design. This book and the next volumeMegasia Kubo Works Collection IIAlthough both art books are collections of Monokubo's works and are directly labeled I and II, their appearance and content are not entirely the same. Volume I is the size of a regular art book, mainly containing single artworks. Volume II is a smaller, regular book size, with some content containing a story (including characters and setting details), and according to the author, it is a story of "going to another world, growing up, and returning to the original world" (…).~~This does not involve spoilers, right?~~).

The cover title Megalophilia is partially polished, and each painting inside has the name of the work marked in the corner beside it. Most of the works do not directly fill the entire page, but are covered with a white or other colored frame.

Animals are one of my favorite themes! "Huge" is always easy to grab people's attention. Although the furry animals in the painting are cute enough, if they are put in real life, it is still quite scary. (~~May only accept my favorite fox~~)
