*Palette* is the first personal art book by Japanese illustrator Lack. The Taiwanese edition, distributed by Gengsheng Culture, features a simple and uncomplicated design; it contains 136 pages and over 160 illustrations. 🎨

A double-sided collector's card (three designs are randomly selected) is included with the book.

Each illustration is accompanied by a name and source, and mainly includes commercial and original illustrations from works such as "Fate/Grand Order (FGO)," "Duel Masters," "Rage of Bahamut," "Chain Chronicle 3," "Sangokushi Taisen," "Final Chronicle," and "Fire of the Sacred Flame."

I love Lack's attention to detail and the interplay of light and shadow. You can see his immense creativity and superb skill in the character development, expressions, and atmosphere. ✨

I personally prefer the author's original works in the second third of the art book; the themes and overall visual presentation are quite rich and wonderful!

Finally, there is a two-page cover illustration of the drawing process, as well as an introduction to Lack and an afterword on the copyright page.

Lack has published three commercial art books, including this one and [the others].lack art collection (2): RPG", "Lack Artbook & Speed Drawing Techniques: FRAME".
