The double book cover is an exquisitely detailed maze diagram, well worth collecting!
It is printed on stiff, slightly smooth paper. Although it is in full color, the main content consists of small illustrations with text descriptions and short black-and-white comics. There are not many large illustrations.
It includes many interesting settings! It's not just content copied directly from a comic.
Beyond the character stats, the character critiques are incredibly insightful. Each character's strengths, weaknesses, and backstory make them all unique and lovable! They even included relationship diagrams for the main characters, showing how they perceive (and are perceived) each other 🤣
In the monster chapter, monsters of the same type are grouped together, and their sizes, habitats, and descriptions are provided, along with a human scale, giving it a feel of looking at an encyclopedia.
It's a pity that not all the details and color illustrations of each dish were included, since monster cuisine is one of the core elements of this work. The dish names and illustrations are only listed in the section on dungeon exploration timeline.

About the Author
Ryoko Kui
Japanese manga artist.
Originally publishing works in doujinshi and online, she gained attention after her debut in 2011 with "Dragon's School on the Mountain". Subsequently, she published "Dragon's Seven Lovely Children" and "Ecological Box in the Drawer" in 2012 and 2013 respectively, winning many awards and gaining high popularity. In 2014, she began her first serialized manga, "Delicious in the Labyrinth".

Let's also unbox the Taiwanese edition of the manga "Delicious in Dungeon" here. 3,4,9,10 The limited edition includes Ryoko Kui's doodle collection "Daydream Hour" volumes 1 through 4!
All four booklets are saddle-stitched and 24 pages each. Only Book 1 is printed in black and white with a non-smooth cover. Books 2 through 4 are all printed in full color. I don't know why Book 3 is different; both the cover and the paper inside are very thin.
The content is a collection of doodles by Ryoko Kui on her personal website, as well as colored drawings from the "Delicious in Dungeon" manga series. Some of the creative doodles seem to have appeared out of nowhere, and paired with Ryoko Kui's explanations, they're quite therapeutic to look at.
I really enjoyed the many unexpected plot twists that weren't shown in the main Delicious dungeon, like swapping clothes, changing races, and various costume designs—it was so peaceful XD
