"KAI PIXEL ART: A Comprehensive Collection of Pixel Art" is the first collection of works by Taiwanese pixel art creator KAI, published by Sharp Point Press in 2023.

The book, totaling 228 pages, includes KAI's pixel art works from 2018 to 2022, all of which he created as a "little painter"!

Each page showcases a series of pixel-art illustrations. The book is divided into chapters: Insects, Minerals, Ancient Ruins, Knights, and Everything. The "Insects" chapter takes up the most space, followed by the "Minerals" chapter, making it feel like a collection of elements extracted from an RPG game! 👾 XD

My personal favorite creations are those with Taiwanese elements, such as architecture, motorcyclists, snacks, and endemic animals.

I also have to mention the "triangular pyramid" (more accurately, a cone XD) that appears in the book, because I recently visited the Garden City Lifestyle Bookstore to see the author KAI's photography exhibition, "Aren't all triangular pyramids the same? What's so interesting about photographing them?" (Exhibition dates: June 19 - July 12, 2026)
