"Free! Boys Swim Club" is a work centered on "comrades" and "dreams". From the first season of the anime in 2013 to its conclusion in 2022, the series has followed the protagonists through their growth from elementary school to university.

I've always thought they could remember things from so long ago or a single word someone said (without missing a single word) 🤣 If I ran into a classmate from elementary or junior high, there's a high chance I wouldn't recognize them (especially if they were wearing masks, haha)!

This is an official art book with 130 pages plus 5 fold-out posters at the end. (The fold-out posters are individual photos of the 5 main characters in casual clothes.)

The book primarily consists of character introductions and plot recaps, followed by sections on the opening and ending themes, as well as some detailed settings. In addition to basic character information, the character sections include other people's opinions of the individual and two pages of selected original artwork.

The remaining one-third consisted of interviews with voice actors and production staff.

The most interesting content includes the news section of Iwatobi High School (event reports, school map, etc.), as well as the lyric arrangement of the ending theme song (and also includes screenshots of the ending theme and character designs that everyone loves).

And what I personally find particularly noteworthy is the "next episode preview" section! It includes complete, word-for-word dialogue from all the characters, along with the much-loved next episode preview images~ (Many anime these days just use scenes directly from the original anime, but Free! is full of Easter eggs^^)

The most unforgettable moment was Mamoru Miyano (Rin) and Daisuke Hirakawa (Rei)'s "All Out" and "Perfect Body" hahaha 🤣
