A friend who only glanced at the book's exterior exclaimed, "It's so JoJo's Bizarre Adventure!" (It was a compliment), especially the stone demon face on the back cover (which wasn't really).

(By the way, I also really love Eli Lin's JOJO illustrations and...)Doujin merchandise 🤣）

The author, Eli Lin, is from Taiwan and has been shortlisted for the Angoulême International Comics Festival in France more than once.

The antique shop in the story is set in Tainan, so there are descriptions of familiar scenes. The book features egg pancakes, bubble tea, and dialogue about soy sauce paste that will bring a smile to your face XD

The girl on the cover, Rosetta, is the owner of an antique shop. She can see the past memories of the items and eat them to taste their flavors. The story unfolds with this ability.

(She has a rose tattoo on the side of her left palm.)

The comic book uses a refreshing mix of color and black and white. The contrasting colors breathe life into the story and better showcase the artist's lines! The characters' expressions are spot-on and humorous.

A large portion of the story focuses on the female painter, set in France between the 1920s and 1960s. I especially loved the depictions of galleries and individual artworks! (I'd love to see more of Pepe and Ronnie's story 👬)

By the end, I felt like I had just gotten myself ready for the next story, and the book was over XD I wonder if there will be any sequels~

The book includes several pages of character, scene, costume designs, and color illustrations at the end.

I graduated from an animation-related major; my high school major was fashion design.

He is passionate about jazz and classical music, fashion and history, and has a particular interest in things with a strong humanistic background. He likes to use continuous lines to construct the atmosphere and express the emotions in his works.
