The "Selected Popular Illustrators' Works Collection" series previously focused on featuring the works of a single illustrator per volume, but this time it's taking a themed approach with a collection of illustrations! And it's a mix of cats and high school girls—two wishes fulfilled at once (X)

Please refer to the official Japanese website:https://medu.gotbb.jp/catandme/

With cover illustration by Madoka Morikura, the collection includes illustrations by 38 creators and short color comics by 2 artists. It presents a complete collection of illustrations themed around "cats" and "girls".

Each illustrator's work consists of a separate page dedicated to the cat, plus a full page showcasing the complete illustration (so the cat appears twice). 🐈)The page with the cats also includes some information, such as the cat's breed, the author's Twitter account, and signature.

The format of the artwork is very consistent and it's very soothing to read (especially since it features cats). The cat shadows and little paw prints used for layout are also adorable.

The book also thoughtfully arranges the cats by breed at the end (I really can't tell the breed of some of them XD), but the most frequently mentioned is the healthiest mixed-breed cat, ZZZ.

(Although I'm a dog lover, it doesn't mean I don't like cats 🤣)
