The "Asian Illustration Yearbook" series was an annual catalog published by the Asian Illustrators Association from 2015 to 2019, showcasing the works of many Asian illustrators. (It's unclear why it was discontinued later.)

This edition of "Asian Illustration Yearbook: Color Collection - Masterful Artwork" was published in 2019, and the copy I'm unboxing is the "hardcover" version. The gold foil on the cover matches the colors of the cover illustration, which is quite interesting (the text in the title uses rainbow colors, which is particularly noticeable).

The book features a whopping 256 illustrators from 17 Asian countries (a huge number!). Due to the sheer number of illustrators, the overall theme and presentation of their works are quite diverse.

Each illustrator has one page, featuring approximately 4-5 illustrations. The information section includes the author's biography, email address, social media accounts, and other contact information. At the bottom of the page are the titles of the included works and the author's signature.

Personally, I think the illustrations are too small, making it difficult to appreciate the details of each piece. However, it allows you to get to know a large number of illustrators with diverse styles at once.
