This is a book I've always wanted! A pop-up book featuring a forest, a fox, and a carousel—who wouldn't love it? 🦊🌳

"A Year in Nature" uses the unique four-page design of a cross-shaped carousel to present the four seasons in the forest. After the book is unfolded 360 degrees, the ribbon on the side can be tied to secure it, allowing you to see the three-dimensional scene of the four pages at once; as the book rotates, the seasons change.

The illustrations depict the different plant landscapes and biological species of spring, summer, autumn, and winter (birds in spring, butterflies 🦋 in summer, squirrels and pine cones/mushrooms in autumn...), and a family of foxes can be seen in all of them, allowing you to observe the growth process of the fox cubs from spring to winter! 🦊

In addition, the fan-shaped ground also features small windows displaying flora and fauna corresponding to the seasons, along with various text explanatory blocks, allowing visitors to better understand the ecology of the four seasons and the stories that unfold in the forest.

Official Introduction

A Year in Nature is a beautiful, unique introduction to the seasons and how they affect the natural world.

The book opens out into a stunning four-part carousel, revealing intricately detailed pop-up scenes of spring, summer, fall, and winter. Follow a family of foxes as the tiny cubs grow up through the year, and explore the woodland scenes to discover a world of animals, trees, plants, and flowers.

From a fawn taking its first steps to squirrels gathering nuts for winter, the woodland is vividly brought to life by Eleanor Taylor's rich, distinctive illustrations.
