Founded in 1967, the Bologna Children's Book Fair (Bologna Children's Book Fair) originated from the world's largest children's book fair—the Bologna Children's Book Fair in Italy. Often referred to as the "Oscars of Illustration," this competition attracts over a thousand illustrators each year, who weave stories together with five illustrations in a series, with the winning works touring the world. As a trendsetter in children's books and picture books, the Bologna Children's Book Fair is highly regarded by creators, art lovers, and publishers.
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Bologna Children's Book Fair, in addition to the annual Bologna World Illustration Awards exhibition, a "60th Anniversary Exhibition" will be held, featuring selected original works from Azul López, winner of the internationally renowned Bologna SM International Illustration Awards! With one ticket, you can travel through the most dreamlike moments of illustration from around the world.
