📍 Exhibition Introduction

I'm going to hold an exhibition!
The picture book "Where Are You Going on Sunday?" is a new book published in 2024. It features many dinosaur characters, a theme that I have always loved.

I've been thinking about where would be the best place to hold an exhibition for this book?
I think the National Taiwan Science Education Center is the perfect place for this book! It's a whole dinosaur museum!

In the picture book story, Little Bao, filled with courage and curiosity, boards a train to the unknown, traveling through a fantastical Milky Way Cave, a vibrant Coconut City, and a beautiful Coral Park, ultimately embarking on his dream journey to Orange Beach.

This journey is not only a geographical exploration, but also a spiritual growth.
Along the way, Xiao Bao overcame his fear of the dark, conquered the obstacle of not being able to swim, and learned to appreciate every moment of the journey.

This exhibition aims to bring Xiao Bao's adventurous spirit into the real world.
Through the illustrations and creative process of the picture book, we invite everyone to embark on a journey together and experience the beauty that "the journey is more important than the destination."

▍About the Author

Dong Dong

Full-time illustrator, picture book author, and school lecturer.
She graduated with a Master's degree in Children's Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art in the UK.
The artist uses vibrant, saturated colors, has a love for nature, and often anthropomorphizes animals as characters in their paintings or picture books. Notable picture book works include *Little Musician* and *Little Frog and Little Snail*.Where are you going to have fun on Sunday?The book was selected for the Kaohsiung City Library's Good Sprout Picture Book Creation Award.
