📍 Exhibition Introduction
Sheya, a US-based illustrator with over 1.3 million followers on social media, celebrates the release of her first commercial art book, "...", by PIE International.Sheya's Art Album Lost and ForgottenThe exhibition "Lost and Forgotten | Sheya Art Collection Publication Commemorative Exhibition" will be held at d/art Gallery in Ximending from September 19 (Sat) to October 18 (Sun), 2026.
Sheya excels at using fresh, bright colors and soft, delicate lighting to present a gentle emotional warmth, along with cinematic compositions that create a narrative and nostalgic atmosphere, condensing stories into her artwork. Her commercial work spans multiple fields, including games, film, and music. Sheya's representative work as an animation director, *WOLO*, is a 2D animated short film completed during her graduate school years, where she also served as the core art director. After its release, the film quickly accumulated over a million views, marking a significant milestone for Sheya as she transitioned from illustrator to animation director.
The exhibition and book title, "Owazu, Forget-It," signifies staying true to one's original aspirations and intentions, hoping that the initial impulse to draw will never truly disappear; even if one occasionally loses their way, they will surely find it again and never be forgotten.
"Lost, Forgotten | Sheya Art Book Publication Commemorative Exhibition" will showcase nearly 80 selected paintings from the book and screen the animated film "A Fleeting Play." Several collectible paintings and exhibition merchandise will be available for purchase by fans of Sheya's work. A limited-edition postcard will also be given away with purchases over a certain amount, while supplies last. Welcome to d/art from September 19th (Sat) to October 18th (Sun), 2026, to experience the charm of Sheya's stories-telling paintings up close!
