The book features five three-dimensional scenes, each double-page spread standing up to form a complete floral design. Some are presented as potted plants, some as plants growing on the ground, and others as lotus flowers surrounded by koi in water. 🪷

The layers and decorations of the flowers and leaves are quite delicate; it really can be appreciated as a tabletop ornament! 🌹😍

Ray Marshall

Ray Marshall began his paper-engineering career in 1980, and in 1985 he won England's Smarties Prize for Children's Books Award for Watch It Work! The Car. The Castaway Pirates was his first book for Chronicle Books. He lives with his wife and two daughters in San Francisco.
