This was when I traveled to Japan in 2016, I spent JPY 510 to carry it back at the Book off (second-hand store) in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. Now that I think about it, it should take up a lot of luggage space (and weight). I really want to go to Japan again (screaming in my heart).

Hakuouki is really a big hole. There are enough publications that are jaw-dropping. You can refer to the historical trajectory of the picture album:This.

There are several picture books & setting books out of the box:

"Hakuouki Caprice Recording Original Art Collection" is the second book of Hakuouki original art collection. I am more impressed with this version of the game (I play the NDS version), so the pictures are quite familiar 🤣

Art BookThe inside cover is also the line draft of the cover illustration, The cover protagonist becomes Yukumura Chizuru and Kazama Chikage. The logic of choosing the cover character is actually not very understanding. Haha, the first one is a separate earthwork Juesan, the latter is a separate Ibuki Ryunosuke (this is more understandable, after all, it is Liming Lu) main character).

HakuoukiThe content layout of the entire series of the original paintings is very similar. This book is about 12 pages of promotional illustrations (the pictures are very good), the CG picture of the game that accounts for the most, the Hakuouki SSL (color man), and the character setting.

In the part of CG drawing and character setting, I think it is better than the previous one.Hakuoki Shinsengumi Kitanhara Painting Collection"It’s good (?), like the CG picture chapter, it’s obvious that the picture has become more full. It can be seen that the illustrations and sketches are enlarged in the layout (the previous picture is less than a two-page one). There are fewer sketches in the character setting part, so the picture can be enlarged. I like that this book is for kimono/yukata (the previous one is formal and suits), and there is no overlap.

The appendix is Hakuouki's Parallel Space-Time Academy Drama, which is also a short comic in the original game. Okita's ancient literary examination paper is interesting enough (with earthwork graffiti). There is also a blasting new selection group.
