In fact, it should have been out of the box a long time ago. I bought this and "Asian Illustration Collection"(The cover was also drawn by Guweiz), but because of the epidemic situation, it had already started work from home when it was sent to the company, and it was delayed until soon.
However, I was a little disappointed that one of the books I sent was seriously damaged in the upper left corner, and the other was damaged at the waist of the book. I didn't dare to buy a new Amazon book anymore, and the package was not properly protected.
● Asian Illustration includes the length of Guweiz ↓
It is hardcover and has a very textured matte surface, and the title text has a fine grainy feel to the touch.
The witch on the cover really wins my heart, and an element that often appears: the theme of the female knight wearing a hat and shiny earrings is also my favorite!
I feel that the characters in the painting seem to move, and my mind can automatically turn the exquisite look and atmosphere into animation. The snow is flying or the rain is torrential. With the brim of the hat and the fluorescent earrings swinging in the wind, the woman staring at it seems not. He noticed the line of sight to her.

● I like the signature earrings very much XD ↓
Other works are mainly girl and city series, with elements like cats and musical instruments.
● Thought it was the family’s laundry↓
The author Guweiz is from Singapore and has become a powerful illustrator through self-study. The English text of this book may account for 1/3 of the space. Many of them are Guweiz’s mental journey and detailed introduction and teaching about creation (how can I write such More content XD). Perhaps from a purely appreciative point of view, the amount of pictures is less, but it is quite helpful for readers who are interested in illustration creation!
● The growth history is very inspirational ↓
The 28 pages at the end of the book are detailed anatomy of 3 works (witch, woods, plant shop), including creative ideas and process details.
People often compare Guweiz with similar styles of Chinese illustrator WLOP, but I think that no matter the character, scene description, and favorite subject matter, they have their own strengths. I like their works very much~
