Super cute, adorable, and sweet! Japanese illustrator Uekura Eku, known for her sweet-loving style and vibrant colors that capture the candy-like world of girls, is releasing her first art book in Traditional Chinese. She has been invited by d/art to hold a "Candy Collection" event from May 31st (Sat) to June 29th (Sun), 2025.｜Exhibition commemorating the publication of Eku Kamikura's painting album"!
With her adorable and sweet clothing, desserts, and adorable creatures, Uekura Eku is completely irresistible. She has transformed these beautiful things into her artwork and has also personally designed many exquisite clothing pieces. From her early illustrations of flowers, colors, desserts, special artisans, furry little creatures, and seasonal themes, to her ongoing Alice series, and finally to her masterpiece "Sweet as Candy Girl," she continues to expand her collection of high-sugar artwork. In recent years, she has launched the Angel series, becoming the most representative artist of the sweetest Yammie Rei.
The first traditional Chinese version of my first artbook was just released in May.Candy collection"Candy Collection" showcases 115 works from 2016 to 2025, each with a different flavor. A preview exhibition of Uekura Eku's works was held at PF42 earlier this month, followed by a run at the Ximen d/art Gallery from May 31st (Sat) to June 29th (Sun), 2025.｜"Uekura Eku Art Collection Publication Commemorative Exhibition" is also Uekura Eku's first solo exhibition in Taiwan.

Kamikura Eku (Uekura Eku)
A sweet-loving illustrator. Obsessed with cute and sweet clothing, desserts, and adorable creatures, she creates high-sugar-content clothing designs and illustrations themed around "girls as sweet as candy." She is active in key visuals, character design, and corporate and brand collaborations. Her publications include: 『TeaParty-Eku UekuraArtBook-』(2020), 『Uekura Eku's Works Collection SugaryGirls−Amakute Delicious Dress Shop−』(2022), and 『Uekura Eku's First Art Collection (Traditional Chinese Version) Candy Collection』(2025).
