The Chinese painting albums in the past were so cheap... Even if they were not their citizens, they were deeply aware of inflation hahahaha. At that time, it was only NT$187 to buy a brand-new copy of "Early Summer: Xia Da's Personal Painting Collection" (although it was shipped violently), and it was still Hardcover collection. It seems to be my first collection of simplified paintings.

The cover of the album is partially varnished and gilded, the folded page has a special lace design, and the bottom of the inside cover is quite novel; the butterfly page has a dark gold bottom, and I really like the transparent page design in front of the title page.

Author Xia Da (April) many well-known comic works are based on the ancient Chinese style, such as "Zibuyu", "long song line", and the more recent "Bu Tiange". But the illustrations in this collection are quite diverse. They gather the commercial and personal creations of previous authors, spanning fantasy, Western elements, etc. Many of the works hit me very well! There are also a series of fan pictures of the game "World of Warcraft", echoing that the author himself likes to play online games (the whole has a sense of intimacy) XD

I used to be very impressed with Xia Da's short picture book stories in "Original Chronicles of Asia", and I like it very much~ This collection of paintings can pack Xia Da's past works at one time, including "Godzilla Does Not Talk", "A Dream in the Garden" ", "Zibuyu" and other illustrations.
