I think I would buy books at the Taipei International Book Fair back then. QQ has been closed for two consecutive years due to the epidemic.

"A Thousand Colors and A Thousand Scenes" is a very important book of paintings. It has 208 pages and is of fairly high-pound paper quality, with a wealth of pictures! The title on the cover and side of the book has a bronzing design (partially rose gold), and the inside cover is a line draft of the cover picture. The content gathers many classics of AKRU over the years (2007-2014), and a large part of it is the cover illustrations he painted for the novel. At the end of the book, there are about 20 pages with black and white illustrations and pictures of the novel, which also has a special flavor.

I first came to know AKRU because of the cover of the novel "Moment of Change" & "Yin Yu Yu", but later found out that he also published a lot of original comics, especially like the story of "Beicheng Hundred Picture Posts", I hope it can continue. Yeah~

Many of the works in this collection of paintings have won my heart. The colors are gorgeous and the subject matter is full of fantasy. Especially the background coloring method is very beautiful, and the details of the objects are also very ingenious.

About the Author

AKRU

Really named Shen Yingjie, is a Taiwanese cartoonist and illustrator. In 2008, he created "Copley's Wings" and made his debut, and was affirmed by the News Bureau's Drama and Comic Award. The following year, he was also shortlisted for the Kodansha World Manga Awards in Japan. Published the "Beicheng Hundred Picture Posts" series in CCC Creation Collection, and served as an illustrator for several novels at the same time.
