Japanese illustrator Dan Tateda, who created the "charmingly cute" image that swept across Asia, debuted as a manga artist and is active in light novel cover illustrations, game character design and artwork, VTuber character design, and other creative fields. In recent years, she has started her own VTuber career and has released her first solo art book, "Dan Tateda Art Book Mona Noble." She will be holding "adorable｜Dan Tateda's First Solo Exhibition in Taiwan" at d/art Gallery in Ximending from April 25 (Sat) to May 24 (Sun), 2026.
Tateda Dan's representative work is the original "Ojosama Yametai" (I Don't Want to Be a Young Lady Anymore) series. With warm colors, super cute charm, and historically researched clothing and scenery, it shows the contrasting cuteness of a well-mannered "Ojosama" (young lady) who doesn't want to be a young lady. In addition, her younger sister and maids experience an elegant yet funny ordinary life together. The "Ojosama Yametai" series has accumulated nearly a hundred works and is also a concrete manifestation of Tateda Dan's pursuit of "ultimate cuteness".
"adorable｜Dan Tateda's First Solo Exhibition in Taiwan" will primarily showcase original paintings from the "I Want to Be a Young Lady" series, as well as representative commercial works. Several of Tateda's collectible paintings and exhibition merchandise will be available for purchase by fans, along with a photo opportunity where participants can randomly receive one of three limited-edition name cards, while supplies last.

She previously worked for a game company and debuted as a manga artist in 2014 with "Taisho Romantic Tea Party Rakuken Otome S" (Houbunsha). She later became a freelance illustrator, gaining attention for depicting cute and endearing female characters.
In 2024, she held her first solo exhibition, "Pre Lady," at pixiv WAEN GALLERY, and in 2025, she published her first art book, "Mona Nobul" (Ichijinsha). She has participated in numerous commercial collaborations, including the God Art "Tenjaku Diddam | Deto Tamaki" for *Duel Masters* and the Sanrio "KAWAII ART CROSSING" project. She also serves as the character designer for popular VTubers such as Haneru Inaba and Legus Lionheart, and actively engages in live streaming activities as a VTuber herself, gaining widespread support and attention.
